The Aqara Hub E1, however, is not controllable by third-party ecosystems but enables control of supported Aqara child devices through voice commands or other ecosystems.

Moreover, the Aqara Hub E1 acts as a Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz repeater, expanding the coverage of Zigbee networks and making the connection of other Aqara hubs and Wi-Fi devices more stable. It should be noted that this repeater function supports up to two devices only.
